Diet and Depression
I’ve spent a lifetime looking for the best diet as many of you have.
Some have been slightly successful in helping me to lose weight, but inevitably I’m sidetracked by my cravings for sugar.
I have known times when my depression is growing deeper and without thinking about it, I have eaten sugar from the bag, obviously looking for any kind of boost to my mood.
But science is coming out with studies which show that we crave less sugar when we eat the healthy fats. And science has learned also that our brains need healthy fats.
So I’m committing today to eat less sugar and consume more olive oil, avocados, and nuts and seeds.
